Visit with great-grandma

Lanie Frances Metzgar holding Melia Frances Stolldorf

Winston wondering what the baby was trying to say.

Baby taking a nap in Grandma's arms.

We went to the doctor for her two week check-up.  Melia weighed in at eight pounds seven ounces(48 percentile).  Her height was still twenty-one inches(70%).  Her head was fourteen and a half inches(65%).  She is in very good health.

Sleeping beauty

Well maybe she isn't sleeping....

Sleep burping.

Very tired baby.

I came home and found Melia and Julie on the couch sleeping.

One week old

Melia is over a week old now. We have noticed that she has already begun to change. Her last weigh in at the doctors was 7 lb. 10 ounces.
Mommy and baby having a little nap time together.

Uncle mike hold Melia
Baby taking another nap.

I think that babies do not like it when you blow in their face (as you can tell from this picture).

Black and White

This photo was taken right after birth.
One happy mama and one sad baby.

We finally got settled in at the house
Melia wearing her "I Love Daddy" shirt
Little baby foot. We still can't beleive how tiny those little toes are. Her little toe looks like it is starting to do the "rolison roll" just like her daddy.
I never thought feet could look so cute.
Melia taking a nap after her first doctor visit. She was fine except she has a condition called "tongue tied". Tongue tied is when the bottom of your tongue is connected closely to the jaw. We want her to be able to lick an ice cream cone so we will probably have it fixed with a simple procedure.

Here are some photos of baby Melia Frances Stolldorf

Baby is thinking very hard

Melia really enjoyed the drive home from the hospital. When I say "enjoyed" I mean that she slept the entire way home.
